The Leebove’s, Matt Leebove and Becca Cooper Leebove, started Lake's Dogs in 2018, a mobile hot dog cart business in the shape of an actual hot dog  because they wanted a fun side business where they could also spend time together.

Both Matt and Becca have "day jobs.” They each have 20 years of experience in business, marketing and fundraising.

Becca owns her own Marketing, Branding, and PR agency, ShuBu Creative, and helps culinary companies, real estate developers, nonprofits and purpose-driven leaders build brands and gain visibility through marketing and PR. Matt is a professional fundraiser in the nonprofit sector, and raises millions of dollars for good causes.

On the weekends, they love to grill together in the backyard, hang out at festivals, go to parks, ski, hike, swim, paddle board, watch their son play baseball and their daughter dance, and hangout with family. The business fit their lifestyle as a family. The name is derived from their deceased dog, Lake, and was kid-friendly.

In 2025, Matt and Becca decided to sell the operations side of the business, keep the brand and consult others on how to build and start a mobile food cart business or any business for that matter.

After years of operating successful businesses, they learned what works and what doesn’t. They want to teach others now how to make thousands of dollars a day with their own mobile food cart business or any business for that matter!
